TEAMWORK

Heart & Mind believes that the best things are done together. That is why we joined together to form a diverse team of practitioners, each with different experiences and from different backgrounds, allowing us to tailor our help to the specific needs of our clients. While every team member has her or his speciality and individual approach of working, each is committed to the highest professional standards, personal integrity and operates within the agreed values and principles of Heart & Mind.

QUALITY

We are committed to delivering high-quality care across the services we offer. All Heart & Mind counsellors are members of professional bodies, fully insured and have or are working towards accreditation with such bodies as the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP) or the Association of Christians in Counselling UK (ACC). As an affiliated organisation of the ACC, Heart & Mind subscribes to their code of conduct in areas of ethics, practice and complaints procedures.

COMMUNITY

Heart & Mind was set up to provide professional and affordable psychological care for London's communities. We recognise that professional help can often be expensive and out of reach for many, particularly for those who are in real need of help and support. As a social enterprise with a heart for the community, Heart & Mind charges on a sliding fee scale as well as providing a 'Low-Cost Counselling Service', supporting those who would otherwise be unable to access professional psychological help.
