Sarah is an experienced counsellor having practiced since 2009 in a range of settings including voluntary counselling agencies, a large London church and medical doctors practices. Her previous professional career was in community nursing and health care. Sarah has considerable experience working within diverse cultures and has lived in both the US and Singapore. The heart of Sarah’s counselling practice is to seek to offer a safe, empathic, collaborative, reflective environment where you may explore your struggles and concerns, whether these arise from mental health difficulties, painful past experiences, the challenges that life brings or a desire to grow in self-understanding. Sarah’s approach is holistic: consideration is given to your physical, emotional, cognitive, behavioural, relational and spiritual wellbeing, in accordance to your unique presenting issues and goals for counselling. As an integrative counsellor, Sarah adapts the approach to your individual needs, drawing on a wealth of resources and interventions, so that you may be equipped to move towards achieving your hopes for the future. Sarah is a qualified counselling supervisor, has taught counselling both within the UK and Asia and is currently in the final stages of a Masters qualification in Counselling.
