Heart & Mind Training offers professionally accredited counselling training programmes underpinned by a Christian worldview. Our qualifications are recognised by CPCAB (Counselling and Psychotherapy Central Awarding Body)

Taken together and with further practice hours, our Certficate in Therapeutic Counselling (Level 4) and Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling (Level 5) are sufficient to gain accreditation as a qualified psychotherapist / counsellor with the Association of Christians in Counselling (ACC) UK, and/or the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).

STEP 1

CERTIFICATE IN THERAPEUTIC COUNSELLING

(LEVEL 4)

This foundational training course provides a unique opportunity to study a recognised and accredited course from a Christian perspective. The 'Heart & Mind Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling' teaches students core counselling skills and strategies and introduces them to a variety of counselling models used today. In addition, the course provides an overview of some of the common psychological issues encountered when supporting others. Successful completion of this programme allows progression onto the 'Heart & Mind Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling' qualification or alternatively, it can be used as a stand alone accredited counselling skills qualification.

STEP 2:

DIPLOMA IN THERAPEUTIC COUNSELLING

(LEVEL 5)

The ‘Heart & Mind Diploma in Integrative Therapeutic Counselling (Level 5)’ builds on the Certificate in Therapeutic Counselling (Level 4). Our diploma course offers training in a variety of recognised counselling models, as well as skills development, understanding the professional and ethical frameworks for counselling and gives graduates the opportunity to progress towards becoming competent professional counsellors within both the Christian community and wider world.

Taken together and with further practice hours, our Certficate and Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling are sufficient to gain accreditation as a qualified counsellor with the Association of Christians in Counselling (ACC) UK, and/or the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP).
