The loss of a relationship, a divorce, the death of a loved one or other major life events can rob our lives of joy and fulfilment. Other times we simply experience daily life as overwhelming or we make choices we regret and find ourselves getting caught up in unhelpful thinking habits or addictions.

While at times we walk through these seasons on our own or with the help of a friend, other times we need something more and something different. We might look for someone who takes the time to listen without judgement, asks questions and has the necessary objectivity and expertise to help us to find a way forward.

Heart & Mind can provide you with professional and confidential help and support in these difficult times.

A dedicated team of counsellors and therapists, offer short-term counselling (e.g. Solution Focused Brief Therapy), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) or more long-term psychotherapeutic support and help.

While counselling and psychotherapy is not a quick fix or an easy solution to life’s problems, it can help you to understand your behaviour, situations and relationships and allow you to make informed decisions. It can teach you how to do things differently, break old patterns of behaviour and equip you with the necessary courage and practical tools to move forward.

Our team has experience in helping with a range of issues including the following:

  • Relationship difficulties
  • Anxiety
  • Panic attacks
  • Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD)
